Technical information

Our website hosting and form-processing providers may automatically process limited technical information when you visit or submit the website, such as:

• Internet Protocol address
• Browser and device information
• Date and time of access or submission
• Website request and security logs
• Information needed to deliver the website, process the form and prevent abuse

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including:

• Registering and managing waitlist participation
• Confirming or responding to a waitlist submission

ConciEnergy seeks meaningful consent for the collection, use and disclosure of personal information. The form identifies the purposes for which information is collected and separates required privacy acknowledgement from optional marketing choices.

Required information

Certain information, including your name, email address, general postal-code area, EV information and survey responses, is required to process a waitlist registration and evaluate demand.

If you do not wish to provide required information, you should not submit the waitlist form.

Optional phone number

Providing a mobile phone number is optional.

Optional email updates

Consent to receive promotional waitlist, launch and service-availability emails is optional. You may submit the survey without selecting the email-updates checkbox.

Optional text messages

Consent to receive text messages is optional and is shown only when a mobile phone number is provided.

Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in a message or by emailing info@concienergy.com.

Withdrawing consent does not affect collection, use or disclosure that occurred before the withdrawal.

If you ask us to stop processing information that is necessary to manage your waitlist registration, we may need to remove you from the waitlist.

4. Email and Text Communications

ConciEnergy will send promotional emails or text messages only where permitted and where the required consent has been obtained.

Commercial electronic messages sent by ConciEnergy will identify the sender, provide contact information and include an unsubscribe method as required by applicable law.

You may unsubscribe by:

• Using the unsubscribe instructions included in an email or text message

We will process unsubscribe requests as soon as reasonably possible and within the period required by applicable law.

You may continue to receive non-promotional communications that are necessary to respond to a request, administer a transaction or confirm an unsubscribe request.

5. When We Share Personal Information

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may disclose personal information in the limited circumstances described below.

We may use third-party service providers to support activities such as:

At the current pre-launch stage, Netlify is used to host the website and process waitlist form submissions.

Service providers are permitted to process information only as needed to provide services to ConciEnergy, subject to their contractual terms and applicable law.

6. Processing Outside Canada

Some service providers used by ConciEnergy may store or process personal information outside Ontario or outside Canada.

As a result, information may be subject to the laws of the country where it is processed and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies or government authorities in that jurisdiction in accordance with local law.

ConciEnergy remains responsible for personal information under its control and will use reasonable measures to require service providers to protect information appropriately.

7. How Long We Retain Information

ConciEnergy retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, meet legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes and maintain appropriate business records.

Waitlist and survey information may be retained while ConciEnergy:

• Evaluates market demand
• Plans potential service areas
• Develops or launches the proposed service
• Manages waitlist communications
• Maintains a continuing relationship with the individual

Records of marketing consent and unsubscribe requests may be retained as necessary to demonstrate consent, respect communication preferences and meet legal obligations.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we will delete it, securely destroy it or anonymize it, subject to technical, legal and legitimate record-retention requirements.

8. How We Protect Information

ConciEnergy uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information in its care.

11. Deletion and Waitlist Removal Requests

You may ask ConciEnergy to delete personal information or remove you from the waitlist by emailing info@concienergy.com with “Delete My Information” or “Remove Me From the Waitlist” in the subject line.

We will assess and process the request subject to applicable legal, technical and legitimate record-retention requirements.

We may retain limited information where necessary to:

12. Cookies, Analytics and Website Technologies

ConciEnergy does not currently use the website to conduct behavioural advertising or sell personal information for advertising purposes.

The website and its hosting provider may use essential technical processes, security tools or server logs needed to:

The ConciEnergy waitlist and survey are intended for individuals who can provide meaningful consent and are interested in EV ownership, charging or related services.

The ConciEnergy website may contain links to websites or services operated by other organizations.

ConciEnergy may update this Privacy Policy as its website, services, technologies or legal obligations change.
